Ways You Can Help
Opportunities to Serve

The San Diego Catholic Worker provides opportunities for people who wish to use their God-given talents in the service of others. For that reason we welcome everyone and discriminate against no one. We particularly welcome people who are dedicated to social justice and peace.

Friday Lunch, Monthly Clothes Distribution, Annual Dinner and Auction:

Occasionally volunteers are needed for specific services such as helping with meals, [Jim Thomas and Alicia Cook are running two different meals per week: one mobile distribution on Wednesdays, and one sit-down meal in Pacific Beach]. Clothes' distribution, and the production / distribution of the Catholic Worker newspaper. We often need help with the Annual Dinner and Auction.  Gifts of goods or services that can be auctioned are particularly welcome.

Donate clothing or help with distribution.  Contact Sharon Everett at 619 284 2308

Other Opportunities:

To volunteer for any of the groups that we support, please contact the groups directly. For a complete list of all the services we provide and the agencies we support, please see San Diego Catholic Worker Today section in the San Diego Catholic Worker Story.
